Critical Farms Public Hearing – 7/9/26 at 7:00 pm

The Planning Commission will have a Conditional Use public hearing prior to their regular monthly meeting on July 9, 2026 at 7:00 pm. Please let me know if you are unable to attend.

Critical Farms LLC has submitted a Conditional Use Permit Application for 9123 W. Woodrow Road, Shelby, MI 49455 (64-011-018-200-12). The applicant is seeking approval of a Conditional Use Permit to use an existing pole barn structure as a rental storage facility, A conditional use permit is required for a storage facility in the Agricultural zoning district. 

The structure for the facility is already constructed and conforms with the setback requirements. The facility will only drop off and pick up services. There will not be renters staying in the facility or on the property. 

The Public Hearing has been published and posted per state law.
